I became a fan when my Mom took me to the revival houses here in Toronto back in
the early 70's on Saturday Afternoon's. Well I was pretty hooked then. And then before we
went to see Limelight she sat me down and told me that my Aunt Melissa (Melissa Hayden)
had been in the film as Claire Bloom's double and had helped to choreograph the movie
along with her NYC ballet partner Andre Eglevsky. Well that cinched it. My Aunt
Melissa is now in her 70's and still teaches dance to students
at The University Of North Carolina School Of The Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
My other favourite Chaplin movies are: The Great Dictator, Modern Times and his wonderful
short movie The Rink.
