How did I become a Chaplin fan?

I was a media studies major with a concentration in Broadcast/Cinema. I had to take "The Auteur Director" and Charlie Chaplin was our focus. The entire semester we studied his life. We viewed many of his films and learned so much!

Ever since then, he has been my all time favorite comedian. He was a comic genius. Even when sound came and the tramp had to go... he was still hysterical.

As far as my favorite feature length Chaplin film goes... it would have to be "The Great Dictator." I love how he made Hitler and Mussolini into complete idiots. Chaplin was outstanding.

"Charlie Chaplin - The Auteur Director" was one of the most enjoyable courses I have ever taken.
